Open Question: What's the crime rate like in Manuel Antonio & Quepos Costa Rica for 2 women and 1 man?

In Aug/Sep I will be taking my girlfriend to Costa Rica for her birthday & we are meeting her best friend from Russia. We're staying for 2 weeks in Manuel Antonio Beach. We've decided not to stay in a Hotel. We will rent a home instead. My question is how safe is Manuel Antonio and Quepos for 2 girls in their 20's and 1 guys in his 30's.
